Mainly salaried people enjoy holidays

In Goa there has been a significant reduction in the number of foreign tourists in the last few years, however the number of tourists from the rest of India has increased to a large extent. Most indian tourists will visit Goa during the weekend, especially extended weekends which include bank holidays. There is a major disadvantage of having indian tourists is that the duration of the trip will be less, three or four days typically while foreign tourist will stay in the state for a far longer period of time nine or ten days.
So hotels and other places offering lodging facilities, taxis find that they are fully booked during the weekends, especially holiday periods, and empty during the rest of the week.
This clearly indicates that mainly salaried people in India are wealthy enough to have surplus money to enjoy holidays while small business owners are harassed with fake allegations, wasting a huge amount of indian tax payer money and do not make enough money to go on expensive holidays
