Organized stalking leads to increase in domestic tourists

Though the number of foreign tourists in Goa has declined according to media reports, there has been an increase in the number of domestic tourists to Goa especially on long weekends. While cheap liquor could be a factor, another factor which people are not aware and the media will not highlight is the drastic increase in organized stalking in India due to the advances in technology.

Wealthy professionals and business owners are especially targetted by these extremely powerful organized stalking gangs for impersonation fraud, identity theft. However these gangs are highly localized and have limited influence outside a particular city or state. If a person will relocate to another state or city, it will be some time before the local gang can get activated to harass them. These gangs will usually not target tourists/short time visitors to the area and are particular ruthless in harassing people who remain in their area all the time.

So to escape the organized stalking and other atrocities like human rights abuses using hitech radiation weapons, more indians are travelling and goa is a popular travel destination where outsiders are not likely to be harassed.
